Rotor Warfare (Demo)
The Skies Are Unforgiving
What started as a game design assignment became a deeply personal project—a one-month test of creativity, resilience, and raw determination. In this 2D top-down shooter demo, you’ll pilot an attack helicopter through relentless skies, facing dangerous enemies. This isn’t just another shooter; it’s a battlefield where every move counts, every mistake costs, and every victory feels earned.
With 'heavy' and deliberate controls, challenging enemy AI, and visuals crafted with care—including fake 3D effects, dynamic 2D lighting, VFX, and post-processing—this demo reflects the dedication I poured into every detail during that intense month. It’s rough around the edges, but the heart is undeniable.
Will you dominate the skies or fall to the chaos? Play it, roast it, love it—or hate it. Your feedback will shape what comes next.

It's a cool game, I liked it. I want to note that there is a very beautiful parallax effect in the menu, all fonts and UI are in the same style.
It was a little confusing that I was like a helicopter, but the missiles fall into bags on the ground... Although I'm kind of taller than them, well, that's okay.
It seemed to me as if the sight was slightly knocked down, the missiles were flying a little to the right or to the left, it was unclear in general.
I think that the music should be a little more dynamic, there was not enough mobility of the helicopter picture, I want it to raise its nose, but lower it when braking/gas, respectively.
I also note that I liked shooting ahead from armored vehicles, and also the last battle was the most terrible, because I had almost no lives left. Overall it was cool, good luck!
I also want to suggest playing a demo version of my friends' game, they have an alchemical 2d project, you might like the idea
